Chandpur Government Technical School and College Technical Campus is a well-known educational institution in Chandpur district. Chandpur Technical College's contribution to creating skilled human resources and poverty alleviation is undeniable. The journey of this institution started in 1969 through a 2-year trade course. This trade course was started in 1969 in two trades. One trade is electrical and the other is automobile. This trade course was in operation till 1994. Then the journey of SSC(Voc) and HSC(Voc) started in 1995 and it is still ongoing. Students are taking education in four trades under SSC and HSC (Vocational) courses. The trades are - Electrical Works & Maintenance, Automobile, Computer & IoT Basics and Apparel Manufacturing Basics. With the aim of further expansion of technical education, the government started the teaching program from HSC (BMT) in 2022 and from 6th, 7th, 8th standard in 2021. Since 1969 till now, this institution has been making efforts to create fully skilled people with technical knowledge.
